Welcome, friends! I’m so glad you’re here. This account seeks to share information about issues that affect medical freedom in an authentically Catholic way.
I want to lay groundwork for a healthy exchange of information, and talk about who this page is meant to serve, what kinds of topics I’ll be covering, some standards of behavior for engaging here, etc.
I’ll call these my Very Important Posts and if (when?) issues come up, I’ll refer back to them.
Sorry for the housekeeping. I promise to get to the nitty gritty soon. I just need to lay it all out there for my own mental well-being.
VERY IMPORTANT POST 1:
WHAT THIS ACCOUNT IS ABOUT:
Parents are entrusted with the care and keeping, the education and the faith of their children. This is right, good, and just. A child, unique and precious, is most intimately known and loved by his or her parents. Therefore, parents have the right and the duty to make informed medical decisions for the child.
There is no way for the government or even a doctor to make such decisions. They do not know the child intimately, as a parent does. Their interests often lie outside the scope of the particular individual, and in the realm of the “greater good.” But God knows us each by every hair on our head and every beat of our heart, which is why He gave us earthly parents to care for us individually.
The government may not usurp this right, because they did not give it in the first place. It comes from God. Only in grave circumstances such as abuse or neglect, may the government assume these rights and duties.

This account will:
❇️Promote the inherent DIGNITY of each person, made in the image and likeness of God
❇️Encourage Catholic parents who are searching for answers regarding medical CHOICES for their children
❇️Empower the faithful to claim their right to make INFORMED CONSENT regarding medical/health decisions
❇️Learn about the natural GOD-GIVEN methods/techniques of protecting and healing ourselves and our families (avoiding anything that falls into the realm of new age/questionable teaching)
❇️Share rigorous SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE, and call doctors, pharmaceutical companies, and governmental bodies to do better and more effective and ethical research for the good of the people
What this page is *not* about:

❌Mockery
❌Violence
❌“Anti-vax”/“Anti-science” (don’t get me started on those titles)
❌Debate*
*There may be some charitable debate permitted, but please don’t follow this page in an attempt to argue every post. I’m a busy homeschooling mom who is just attempting to help other Catholic parents who feel their concerns are often shoved aside by practitioners and other Catholics. I don’t have the time to engage in debate after debate with people who don’t really want to learn. 💛
Finally, I am fully committed to the one, holy, Catholic and apostolic Church, founded by Christ and protected by the Holy Spirit. I submit to Her teachings. If I inadvertently contradict her doctrine/dogma, please refer back to the Church. Charitable fraternal correction is welcome.
