Injuries, Gaslighting, Forgiveness
V🪓een injuries are real. (Anyone who denies this, denies truth.)
Gaslighting is real.
Forgiveness is compulsory.

I often ask the Lord if He wants me to say anything to you. Sometimes He is silent, and on my best days, I remain silent too. (Pray for me. I talk too much. 😬)
Today, I prayed for those of you who have experienced both the initial pain of illness/injury from v🪓eens, and the subsequent pain of being gaslit by doctors, family, and friends. I asked Him what I should say to you. The two-fold answer came to my heart almost immediately.
1. God has infinite compassion for you. He sees your pain and your struggles, and He is with you in every moment.
2. God is also calling you to forgive those who have hurt you, to root out the resentment that may have taken hold.
It’s so easy to let the bitterness of rejection to seep in. Truly, there may be righteous anger at those who hurt the little ones: the children and their mothers especially. God sees them and He will judge them justly.
But God has a life in mind for you. A life of freedom that you cannot have if you cling to anger, if you nurture this grudge. No physical healing can replace the healing of your soul.
I know this is an impossible request. (As I write this, my eyes fill with tears because I know how much many of you have been hurt.)
But it is only impossible to forgive if YOU try to forgive on your own. Beg Jesus (BEG HIM) to grant you His most Sacred Heart. Beg Him to let His Precious Blood gush forth mercy, forgiving you and everyone through you.
This is freedom. This is love. And this is required of you.
“Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us...”

I think this is obvious, but just in case, forgiveness does not preclude setting appropriate boundaries. Forgiveness does not mean allowing abusive people to continue to hurt you. ♥️
