Informed Consent through a Catholic Lens

As you can tell, this workshop will be primarily geared toward educating Catholic parents or parents-to-be. However, everyone of good will is welcome!

If you’re interested in joining me, I am asking for a small donation, in the amount of your choosing. Asking for donations makes me super uncomfortable, both because I love talking about this and happily do it for free with any of my friends who will listen, but also, I’ve been accused of trying to “monetize” this account, so I’m sensitive about it.

However, after prayer and discernment, I do feel that asking for a donation is the best practice. First, researching and hosting this webinar takes time from my family, and that time is very valuable. Secondly, I’ve found that paying for a class or workshop makes people more likely to show up, and I really want you to show up for this. :) Edited to add: if you’d prefer a suggested amount, $10 seems fair.

Here’s how to sign up

1) Go to PayPal and sign in. Send a “friends and family” donation in any amount to catholicsformedfreedom@gmail.com. In the “message” section, include the email address you use to login to Zoom. This part is very important because that email address is how I will complete your Zoom registration. Registrations close Monday, 8/29 at 7 pm Pacific.

2) On Monday evening, after registrations close, I’ll collect all email addresses and register you for the Informed Consent workshop. I’ll also send you an email with 2 important items: a link to the workshop, and a printable PDF outline of the seminar so you can take notes.

Only registered attendees will be able to attend, so please make sure the email you sent me in step 1 is correct. Feel free to email me directly at catholicsformedfreedom@gmail.com if you don’t get an email by Tuesday morning.

I anticipate the workshop being between 1-1.5 hours. I have a ton of stuff to go over, and many, many resources to share. I hope to see many of you there!
